What are your strengths?
Our strengths correspond to our values that we have tried with commitment and dedication to achieve: innovation, technology, reliability both as products and as a company, Made in Italy and last but not least, eco-sustainability.

Bifire is a story of all-Italian uniqueness. In fact, 90% of your products are made here, a different path compared to the typical one in many companies. Why this choice?
To be precise, 90% of our products are made by Bifire in our factories which are all in Italy, to be precise in Brianza. The remaining 10% of the products are marketed. These in turn are 90% made in Europe. In 2007 we decided to produce and do it in Italy. While everyone was relocating to China or other low-cost countries, Bifire decided to go against the flow. We decided to “localize” and we did so thinking that this choice was the correct one, for several reasons. Being able to control and guarantee product quality, give value to our community (Desio, Lombardy and Italy in general), avoid geopolitical risks, avoid exchange rate risks, grow our internal skills, be different from others and be close to our customers.

Can sustainability and innovation go hand in hand?
In the development of our products we have always put these two concepts at the center. In fact, our products have always been different from what already exists on the market. Always trying to give a benefit to our customer and a competitive advantage to our proposal. Furthermore, we have always tried to develop products with maximum sustainability. For example, the latest factory we built in Seregno is zero impact, meaning it does not produce any waste or waste. All materials and waste are reused in the production process.

Technology and functionality but above all safety are your focus.
Our name speaks of “fire”, fire to be precise, and this is one of our missions: to protect people and things dear to us from fire. Just think of the fire in Valencia, how many lives and things would have been saved by using our materials?

Fire prevention in construction is a subject that has experienced a great acceleration in recent years. Can you tell us what your approach is to requests from the construction fire prevention market?
We have an attentive technical office ready to respond to market requests. We have equipped ourselves with an internal fire testing laboratory that is cutting-edge and unique in Italy for a manufacturing company. We are able to develop and certify a new product in a few weeks from when the market need arises.

Taking a look at the international market, what strategy are you adopting?
We want to expand our reference market, exploiting our strengths and our technologies. We believe that the DACH area market (Germany, Switzerland and Austria), being neighboring, is suitable for our expansion. We have just established a company in Germany with the aim of growing over the next ten years and replicating the success of Bifire in Italy.

Are there any future projects that you can tell us about?
Our research and development team is active on various fronts. In a few days we will inaugurate the new factory in Seregno, built mainly to serve the DACH market. We are also studying innovative solutions based on completely recycled and natural materials.

Can you tell us what your personal passions are?
It’s difficult to talk about yourself, you risk saying things that aren’t true. The only thing I feel like saying is that I believe I am a busy person who is trying to leave a mark (I hope positive), both at work and at home where my wife and I have built a beautiful family with four smart kids. .
