06.14.2024 – 08.00 – First readings, theatre, quotes and dance. Now it’s the turn of Irish-style music and rivers of beer. This is what characterizes the final appointment of “BloomsDay 2024- A party for Joyce”, a tribute exhibition to James Joyce’s Ulysses, a journey promoted by the Municipality of Trieste and the Joyce Museum, a project that culminates in the stop on Sunday 16 June, from 8.30 pm, at the Bounty Pub in via Pondares 6, theater for the concert of the Wooden Legs. Born in 2008, the Trieste band devoted to the Irish folk verb is made up of Giovanni Settimo (singing and guitar) Alice Porro (flute and Tin whistle) Sebastiano Frattini (stringed instruments) Enrico Apostoli on bass and Marko Jugovic on percussion.

They have long been the interpreters of festive Irish atmosphere and impactful, becoming a hit in the pubs and juggling between their own compositions and pure traditional scores. To cement the Irish breath, here is the “chain” of beers (about ten) promised by the Bounty Pub to add more color to the evening that closes this year’s traveling tribute in the city of James Joyce and which also saw the collaboration of the University of Trieste Department of Humanistic Studies, the Regional Tourist Promotion, Convention and Visitors Bureau and the LETS Letteratura Trieste Museum. For further information and reservations for the evening of the 16th, the number 040.762952 is active.
