Valerio Pianigiani and Silvio Pittori will compete for the position of mayor of Figline and Incisa in the runoff, which will take place on Sunday 23rd and Monday 24th June. The first round was not enough to elect the mayor: in fact, no one reached 50% plus one of the votes cast in the municipal area.
Valerio Pianigiani reached approximately 47% of the votes, and comments: “We are happy with this wonderful result that we obtained for the administrative elections of the municipality of Figline and Incisa Valdarno. We have arrived close to the finish line: obviously there is a need to hold another electoral round, but the result is excellent and we have managed to get our message across to the people in all the various initiatives we have undertaken and ensure that the coalition came out in an important way. We are waiting for the citizens of Figline and Incisa Valdarno for the ballot which will take place in 15 serene and calm days due to the honesty and transparency of our message”.
Silvio Pittori reached around 30%. His hot comment: “We certainly expected this result, and therefore to go to the run-off. We are very happy to have arrived with around 6% more than 2019. A new phase is opening, these two weeks will be challenging but also stimulating. I don’t like to talk about affiliations but about programs: if there are any overlaps we will discuss it, in the interest of the community and our voters.”
