“Promise kept. But we miss it a lot”

The boys of Area 51 had said it on the day of the funeral and kept their promise: Enza will live forever with them thanks to a mural in her memory. Vincenza Magro – for the kids “outside” of Rozzano “Enza” – was a social worker always with a smile who died prematurely on March 16th. A woman who knew how to make everyone respect the rules. And for this reason she was loved and left a void that the boys of Rozzano wanted to fill by creating the mural and dedicating Area 51 to her, their “survival space”. Although she did not live in Rozzano, she loved this city so much that her family wanted the funeral to take place here, close to her boys, her staff and that Sert which for her was a place of resurrection. And that day at her funeral there was truly all of her Rozzano. For many of the kids in Area 51, Enza was a point of reference for the Sert and she had followed hundreds of them, accompanying them towards a path of change. “We miss her so much. Too much. She left a void in many of us. She was always ready to understand, not to judge but to help – says Gennaro Speria spokesperson for Area 51 –. With this mural “la Magro” will always be close to us even if it’s no longer there.” Mas.Sag.
