FVG – European elections 2024, turnout collapses: thanks to the voting over the weekend – even if the weather wasn’t great – 48.29 percent of eligible voters voted against 57.04 in the previous elections (-9 points ). Turnout is decreasing throughout the North East where 53.93 voted against 63.94 in 2019 (-10 points). The Italian figure is 49.7, breaking the critical threshold of 50.
For the administrative elections of 114 municipalities, 56 percent of those entitled to vote voted.
Results of political formations
At the European elections, we note the strong performance of Forza Italia (34.00) with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni as the preference champion, a more than good result for Alessandro Ciriani with 36,473 votes.
Democratic Party in second place with 20.97, Stefano Bonaccini and Sara Vito stand out.
Lega does better than elsewhere with 14.93, extremisms with Anna Cisint and General Vannacci are very popular.
Forza Italia on the other hand does not excel, it gets 7.06.
Others from the opposition: AVS good with 6.10, M5S down with 5.42.
The other teams that do not exceed the threshold of 4 are stopped.
