Who knows what he would comment on Cristiano Malgioglio L’imitation of Mahmood made in the Spanish version of Such and such show. What is certain is that to listen to the words of the jurors You dear me sounds we will have to wait a few more days. In fact, in the next episode broadcast on Antena 3, the competitor Raoul Vázquez will play Gold suit duetting with Mahmood, but on social media it is already possible to spoil the performance.
The format foresees that in each episode a competitor tries his hand at the “Original y copie” test, which compares him with the original interpreter of the song. For this reason Mahmood (expected soon at a festival at Pride in NY) enters the stage mid-performance, and finds himself duetting with his imitator.
Raoul Vázquez is a Spanish singer-songwriter and musician. Born in 1997, he participated in 2016 in La VozIberian version of The Voiceand in 2017 a Operación Triunfo. She is currently living the experience of You dear me sounds and in the episode broadcast this week he will have to impersonate “our” Mahmood with his latest Sanremo hit. A choice that does not cause particular surprise if we think that the Italian singer-songwriter is returning from a European tour which also successfully touched Spain.
The Italian fans, commenting on the clip which sees Raoul and Mahmood singing together, have already expressed themselves in these terms: “The most beautiful thing I will see today”, “When they film together I am dying of laughter this surreal thing“. Perhaps Mahmood must have thought the same thing at the end of the performance he can’t hold back his laughter in coming face to face with your clone.
It’s not the first time Such and such show pays homage to the Milanese artist. In 2019 the Spanish version always paid him a tribute when Jorge González imitated him with Money. In Italy, however, we well remember the parody of Gabriele Cirilli and Francesco Paolantoni who imitated Mahmood and Blanco in an unlikely version of Chills.
