FORTUNAGO At 11pm on Saturday evening the mayor of Fortunago Pier Achille Lanfranchi, having reached the quorum of 40% of those entitled to vote, had already been reconfirmed as mayor and Lanfranchi began his tenth term at the helm of the hilly municipality.
If we exclude a single mandate with mayor Loredana Sgorbini, Lanfranchi has in fact been at the helm of the municipality continuously since 1975. And at 11pm on Saturday he had already far exceeded the quorum, celebrating the goal achieved with friends and other councilors.
At 12 yesterday morning, the mayor of Menconico Paolo Donato Bertorelli who had already exceeded 45%, Mattia Franza mayor of Bagnaria, Enrico Frattini who takes over from Isabella Cebrelli at the helm of the municipality of Retorbido, Andrea Gandolfi who leads the municipality of Santa Margherita Staffora for the third mandate and Andrea Giganti who after two mandates with mayor Paolo Prè returns to be the mayor of Borgo Priolo. Also reconfirmed as first citizen, for the third time in a row, was Fabio Molinari, mayor of Borgoratto Mormorolo where at 1pm the quorum of 40% was well exceeded.
Quorum also reached for Tino Pernigotti in Ponte Nizza Cristiano Bianchi in Cecima.
