Once again we return to talking about expensive bills, this is a topic that unfortunately affects all Italians closely and for this very reason it causes quite a bit of discussion within families. Ancillary expenses within an energy bill
The additional costs within the bill do not stop at just you system charges, these are paid within the bills for both electricity and gas and are made up of a series of items which affect the final amount to be paid. For all intents and purposes they represent a truly important part of the bill and are contributory in nature they do not depend on actual consumption.
Added to the system costs are the costs for raw materials, transport and meter management. These are essentially taxes that cover activities of general interest regarding the management of gas and electricity. But let’s focus on the system charges.
What are system charges
There are numerous components that form the system costs. The largest percentage of them is made up of incentives for renewable sources and subsidies for industries producing high energy consumption factors. This at least as far as the supply of electricity is concerned.
Within a single bill the system charges that are charged are equal to 22% of the total. If you are wondering if there is a way to avoid paying these expenses, the answer unfortunately is no. The only real possibility you have of saving on them is the government’s decision to eliminate or reduce them.
