Defeated the German Zverev in five sets. He didn’t play very well, he made a lot of mistakes. Starting tomorrow Sinner number one: he and Carlos are the best

Alcaraz wins even when he doesn’t play very well. He has an arm and a body that are stronger than his head.

Carlos Alcaraz wins his third Slam title at 21 years old. He wins Roland Garros with a five-set victory over the German Zverev who plays a good match, but then collapses in the last two sets and returns home with a final score of 6-1 6-2.

What will Alcaraz become when the head is at the level of the arm and the body? We will see. He has a tennis and competitive exuberance that at the moment allows him to make up for mental breaks. Today in Paris he played well. Very beautiful points but also many gratuitous errors, missed passes, many double faults. In the third set – it was a tied set – 5-2 for him, he ended up losing 7-5. In the meantime, however, the work on the ropes on the German long road has begun to bear fruit. The many short balls ended up weakening his physical resistance.

It wasn’t a memorable final. It was a nervous final. With many errors. But not every match has to be memorable. From tomorrow Sinner will be number one in the world rankings. At the moment, Sinner and Alcaraz are the strongest. We’ll see if any other tennis player will emerge or if someone will improve to the point of questioning their hegemony.
