TEL AVIV – It’s a scream that cuts through the whole place Tel Aviv: “They’re free”. He is shabbat but the television stays on and shows images of Noa Argamani25 years old, while hugging his father again and talking on the phone with the prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli president Issac Herzog.
The girl, as well as the other 3 hostages, is in good health and is hospitalized at Tel HaShomer hospital.

Noa Argamani, 25, has become one of the symbolic faces of the hostages. On October 7, Hamas released a video showing her screaming in fear as she was taken to Gaza from the Supernova festival on motorbike. The kidnapping of the young woman, in her second year at Ben Gurion University, moved the world also for the mobilization of her parents: the tears of the father who had learned of the kidnapping of her daughter from those very images; the heartfelt appeals of mother Liora, of Chinese origins, terminally ill with cancer. Fighting against time, Liora appeared on CNN and also addressed Biden, to ask as a Christmas present to be able to hug his only daughter again before closing my eyes forever. In November she was also filmed saying goodbye to the girl for the last time.
Almog Meir Jan, 21, was released from military service three months before his capture. He was also picked up from the party.
Andrey Kozlov, 27, was working as a security guard at the rave when he was caught. He is a new immigrant to Israel, having moved here about a year and a half ago.
Also Shlomi Ziv, 40, worked as part of security at the desert party. Ziv had gone to the party with two others, Aviv Eliyahu, a relative of his wife, and Jake Marlowe, a friend. Both were killed.
The 4 hostages were freed – according to IDF reports – under fire, therefore during a military operation that had been planned for weeks and which would have seen an Israeli soldier wounded.
