These are the numbers of the mega-plant created in Candela, on the initiative of the Belagri company, which is based in the Sub-Apennine municipality, which combines ecology with energy: it is, in fact, powered by pomace, manure, animal husbandry residues, a natural soil improver that acts as fertilizer.
The structure was inaugurated by an exceptional and excellent godfather: the engineer Paolo Arrigoni, president of the GSE, the national body that governs the entire energy market in Italy, who was keen to underline the innovative profile of the candelabra plant, cutting edge in our country. The inauguration ceremony was enriched by the participation of company representatives from “Ghisolfi e Corradi”, a leading company for biomethane plants in Italy; “Prodeval”, leader in the refining of biogas into biomethane, “IGW”, a top environmental, energy and construction consultancy company, which will verify and certify the environmental sustainability of the plant. The entrepreneurial initiative, which obviously makes the mayor of Candela Nicola Gatta and the deputy mayor, delegate for the environment Pasquale Capocasale, happy, was also blessed by the regional representative of Legambiente Puglia, Salzedo. Appreciation also came from the Foggia MP of the 5 Star Movement, Giorgio Lovecchio, who took part in the inauguration of the plant.
