The time has officially come to think about the summer, but how much does an umbrella cost in this summer of 2024?
After a long wait, the time has finally come to enjoy one of the most anticipated seasons of the whole year: temperatures are now rising, and to be honest they are also doing so at a speed that leaves all of us speechless to say the least. And, precisely for this reason, our thoughts cannot help but project themselves onto the season and relaxation that awaits us.
The month of May, on the other hand, was perhaps rather volatile, with a rather hot start and a second half which instead imprisoned us under the weight of inconstant and sudden rains. But now that the bad weather seems to have been left behind, the time has certainly come to focus on the summer and in particular on how to spend this period: that is, at the seaside and possibly under an umbrella.
Increases in sight, what happens
Well yes, to the detriment of the more than optimistic hopes of all of us, 2024 promises to be higher in terms of bathing costs and tariffs compared to 2023. In reality, these are some data which for many people were also predictable: as we all know, on the other hand, the situation in our country is certainly not improving and most of us continue to be stuck in a real iron grip on cause of the economic crisis that has affected our territory.
In short, inflation has now affected all of us, with no possibility of being able to save ourselves or even be able to breathe a sigh of relief. And, above all, it is now affecting every sector of our daily life: the first areas affected, in fact, were undoubtedly the primary sectors, like food ones, or even gas and electricity within our bills. To date, however, the situation has spread much further and above all is now also involving sectors that are in a certain sense secondary but which equally have an impact on many of us.
Summer 2024, the costs of an umbrella
But let’s get to the point and try to find out, in more detail, what increases we will encounter during this summer of 2024 in the purchase of our seasonal umbrellas. In Alassio, for example, there was an increase of 3 percent compared to last year seasonal rates of 340 euros.
In Alghero, however, the increase is only 2 percent with the figure being 220 euros, similar to Gallipoli where we are talking about 275 euros. Among the highest increases, however, we can certainly mention Rimini, with an increase of 4 percent and a tariff of 150 euros, Viareggio with a percentage of 5 percent and a cost of 209 euros, and finally Senigallia with an increase of 8 percent and a cost of 145 euros.
