This morning at 07:25, a serious road accident it involved only one car in via Biulè a Cesano Maderno. According to initial reconstructions, the driver of the car, for reasons still under investigation, lost control of the vehicle which was ended up falling off a bank and overturning. In the cars two womenaged 19 and 54.
The people inside the vehicle were promptly rescued by the personnel of the Fire Brigade and the Regional Emergency Urgency Company (AREU) who quickly arrived on site. The fire engine from Desio was sent to assist in the rescue operations. The driver and passenger were transported to Desio hospital yellow code, indicative of moderately serious but not life-threatening conditions.
The officers of the Local Police of Cesano Maderno are continuing their operations investigations to clarify the exact circumstances of the incident. In the meantime, the area has been made safe to avoid further accidents and allow traffic to be restored.
