ROME – A video has been released showing the desperate attempt of a firefighter to save Bianca Doros, Patrizia Cormos and Cristian Molnar – still missing – shortly thereafter overwhelmed by the flood of the Natisone river, in Friuli Venezia Giulia

The rescuer, as the images show, tries with all his strength to reach the three boys hugging each other in the river while his colleagues on the bank held him with a rope. But the heroic gesture did not come to fruition: the policeman was forced to give up so as not to risk being overwhelmed by the fury of the raging river.
