This is how mayoral candidate Diego Sabatucci defines his list as ‘Pergola in the heart’, who yesterday (Thursday) greeted his team’s supporters in the square, with more than 600 citizens, in the presence, among others, of the Honorable Antonio Baldelli ( also a candidate for councilor) and the mayor of Fossombrone Massimo Berloni. “Our priorities – continues the aspiring mayor – are the decorum of the city, which means stopping the abandonment and degradation of urban spaces, taking care of the streets, sidewalks and meeting centres; the redevelopment of historic corners; attention to policies for sport and young people; the settlement of the areas affected by the 2022 flood; the support for commercial activities and the development of tourism, with the relaunch of the events that have made us attractive and created opportunities for growth, such as the National Fair of the Truffle, the CioccoVisciola and the historical re-enactment”. Sabatucci continues: “A concrete program, which we will implement thanks to a competent team that will be able to count on the direct relationships established with the regional and national governments, the results of which are there for all to see. From the renovation of the hospital (which began yesterday, ed.) , to the financing of the first section of the Pergola-Fossombrone interval, up to the historic train, with its 6 thousand tourists in 2023 and the already thousand of the first 3 trips this year”.
