After Igor Tudor’s farewell in the last few hours, the Lazio is ready to announce the name of the coach who will replace the Croatian coach. In recent days Tudor himself, who tomorrow barring any surprises will speak at a press conference to explain his point of view regarding the resignation, had met the Biancoceleste club on several occasions and confirmed his distance from the plans and market ideas in sight of summer. Hence the break, irremediable and definitive, which led him to take a step back and forced Lazio to go in search of a new coach.
Right from the start the first name at the top of Lotito and Fabiani’s list of thoughts, with Italiano and Palladino now settled elsewhere, was that of Marco Baronia coach fresh from the extraordinary salvation with Hellas and until then in negotiations with Monza for the position vacated by Palladino, who in the meantime had moved to Fiorentina.
In the last few hours Lazio have intensified contacts and reached basic agreements, thus beating Monza. The parties, if everything is confirmed, will in these hours sign a new two-year agreement, therefore until June 2026, and then announce the choice with official press releases.
