In Grado there is an attempt to break the record for the number of people dressed like the sun.

The Friuli Venezia Giulia challenges Canadawith the aim of taking home an “extravagant” record: that of largest number of people dressed like the sun. And where if not in Gradoalso called the Island of the Sun?

In the seaside resort, in fact, the Official Record Attempt will take place on June 11th of the Guinness World Records title of the largest gathering of people dressed like the sun and for the occasion the island will be tinged with colors as bright as its beaches. At the moment, the record belongs to Canada, set on April 8th, during the solar eclipse, near Niagara Falls with a group of 309 people.

During the event on June 11th, Aurora Ramazzotti, LolloBarollo, Roccotnl and Il Ginnasio will be filming a web series and will take part in the group to try to beat the Canadian title, in the unusual location of GIT SpA – IMPERIALE Beach Sector (Antiche Terme Restaurant) from 3pm to 6pm. At the end of the event, participants will be able to take part in a party with a DJ set.

What will happen on June 11th will be the focus of one of the three episodes of the web series #SeiInGrado – L’isola del sole. innovative storytelling of the Guinness World Official Record Attempt. The project is produced by Show Reel Agency and commissioned by, among others, the Municipality of Grado, PromoTurismoFVG, the Grado Turismo Consortium, Grado in rete, Ascom and Franco Grasso Revenue Team. Among the objectives of the members of the table there is the growth and promotion of the “Grado” brand as an excellent tourist destination.
