A very serious accident this morning, approximately after 11 am, occurred in the Cappellette area of Monte Porzio, on the provincial road that connects to the city of Frascati, for which the air ambulance was also alerted.
A motorist, driving a Scenic, when entering the arterial road at Via delle Cappellette, collided with a scooter coming from Monte Porzio towards Frascati. The impact was violent, with the driver of the moped being thrown from the vehicle he was traveling in, ending up disastrously on the ground.
The man driving the scooter, in serious condition, was rushed to the emergency room, aboard the helicopter that landed in the Cocciano rugby field, not far away, where he arrived aboard the ambulance.
The driver of the car was a woman, who fortunately did not suffer any serious consequences.
