Vigevano, 5 June 2024 – Dismay and pain. Vigevano mourns another young life cut short by a road accident. Manuel Volpi she was 19 years old and was a big fan of Bmx. The boy stayed victim of a road accident occurred in the early evening of Sunday but his body was only found at first light on Monday. There was nothing left for him to do. The accident, which is being investigated by the Carabinieri of the Abbiategrasso Company, occurred along state road 494 on the outskirts of the city and approximately to the left.

The young man lost control of his KawasakiZ800 on which he was returning home. It was just after 7pm. The motorbike went off the road at a point where the vegetation is quite thick and there is a significant slope, circumstances that hid the body of the nineteen-year-old for hours and the motorbike in the eyes of passers-by. In the evening the family, not seeing him return, raised the alarm and the search began. When he was found, just before 6 a.m. Monday, he was now lifeless.
The investigations by the Carabinieri will reconstruct the dynamics of the event while the body is currently available to the judicial authority which should dispose of the autopsy. Only later will the date of the funeral be set. Deep condolences were expressed by the company’s leaders Bmx Vigevano, of which the nineteen year old had been a member for 7 years. Manuel Volpi leaves behind his parents and a little sister.
