“It is truly in bad taste to see the Mayor of Ravenna, De Pascale, go to a party demonstration to campaign on the backs of flooded citizens. Unfortunately, we have now become accustomed to these behaviors and to the continuous controversies that De Pascale, together with his party colleague Bonaccini, directs at the government. It is right to counter his lies with a little truth: if Romagna was so damaged by the flood, an important responsibility lies with those who have done nothing in recent decades for the maintenance of the territory. For its part, the Government promptly allocated billions of euros and an unprecedented figure was put on the table for urgent needs, which allowed the works to be unblocked immediately. The executive was then asked to compensate with the same criterion used for the earthquake in Emilia Romagna and so it was done, or rather more, since in that case the movable assets were not compensated. As regards the Sphinx platform, I want to remember that it is regional: therefore if Mayor De Pascale has some problems it is the case that he turns to Bonaccini, before he escapes to Europe. Finally, I find it ridiculous that the one pointing the finger is precisely the mayor of Ravenna who, having available, between the Municipality and the Province, around 40 million euros awarded between emergency sums and infrastructural damage, to date has presented projects for less than 2 million. De Pascale, before lecturing others, it is best to look at your own home.”

Beatriz Colombo, Romagna deputy of the Brothers of Italy, says so.
