Two helicopters from the 118 service were also on site
One person died and one was seriously injured in a tragic road accident which occurred along State Road 131, at kilometer 102, near the crossroads for Tramatza, in the lane towards Sassari.
According to an initial reconstruction, a military vehicle, an armored Lince, of those used in missions abroad, skidded shortly before 5pm and hit the guard rail, then overturning onto the road.
One soldier died instantly following his injuries and another, aged 47, was seriously injured. Loaded onto a helicopter of the 118 service, he was transported to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari. The two were going to Olbia to embark.
Traffic was temporarily blocked and diverted along the coplanar road.
The police and rescuers of the 118 service were on site, as well as the firefighters of the Oristano provincial command and the Anas teams.
