Atalanta-Fiorentina 2-3 at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo for the recovery of the 29th matchday of Serie Apostponed on March 17th due to the illness that struck the general director of the Viola company, Joe Barone, who died two days later at the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan.

The match (first half)

The match (second half)
Fiorentina is starting to recover tries to deal the final blow to the home team. In the 47th minute Ranieri, however, didn’t have the right reflexes to deflect Belotti’s assist into the net.
A minute later another opportunity for the viola. Martinez Quarta serves Duncan who, to avoid Carnesecchi, slips away and sends the ball to the outside of the net.
Atalanta tries to react who tries to fight for every ball: however, Italiano’s team doesn’t stop attacking.
At 54′ Sensational cross from Pašalić: the Croatian shoots very hard following Lookman’s suggestion but hits the top wood with Martinelli now beaten.
Game time is over. the Goddess, in greater possession of the ball, tries to increase the pace of the match.
In the 64th minute the substitute Mirančuk did everything very well in the purple area but then sends the ball just wide with his left foot: what an opportunity for the Orobic team.
Scalvini remains down in the 82nd minute: the Nerazzurri player collapsed to the ground alone. Very sore, he leaves the field.
At 90’+2′ Atalanta tries again with Scamacca taking everyone’s time with his head but still finding an excellent response from Martinelli in the corner.
