The car which accelerates and suddenly smashes the windowsoverwhelms crates and shelves and enter the supermarket. Incredible accident, fortunately without injuries, but at that moment there were many customers present in Parabiago on the morning of Sunday 2 June.
A Mercedes station wagon driven by a 90-year-old man it “broke” the windows of the Unes supermarket in via Cuoco and crashed into the checkouts. The man driving, in shock, was rescued by 118 and taken under code green to the hospital in Castellanaza (Varese).
Employees and customers were unharmed only by a stroke of luck. Witnesses said they heard a big bang, then the sound of glass breaking and a very loud bang when the car crashed into the crates and shelves. It seems that at the origin of everything there is an error on the part of the driver would have triggered the automatic forward movement by mistake. The intervention of the firefighters was necessary to extract the car.
