DAZN increases prices for current expiring customers. This time it is not the price lists that are increasing, but simply the amount paid annually by those who they have an annual plan and plan to renew it.

They can do it, but the conditions will not be the same as last year, they will have to stick to the January price lists where subscriptions increased by around 20%.

If we consider DAZN a Netflix or Disney+ style operator, as it was originally, the “zero loyalty” approach is fully compatible with a streamlined style, without constraints and with the possibility of leaving and returning whenever you want. Today, however, DAZN is the furthest thing there is from Netflix or Disney+ (and also from NOW): cancellation is not immediate and there are annual plans that make it look more and more like traditional pay TV, where usually the loyal customer is able to have a slightly lower price than the new customerwho can take advantage of an initial promotion but then find themselves paying more.

In order to guarantee better functionality of the Services, upon the annual expiry of the Annual Plans with payment in 12 monthly installments and the Annual Plans with payment in a single DAZN STANDARD, PLUS and START solution, the relevant price will adjust to the current list price in force (www.dazn.com). Customers affected by the change will receive a personal communication via email with all the information details and in compliance with the required legal notice. If they do not agree with the contractual changes that will be made, pursuant to current legislation and the Contractual Conditions of Use of DAZN services, they will be able to withdraw from the DAZN service without penalties or deactivation costs by the date indicated in the personal communication sent via e-mail , by logging in to the “My account” page and clicking on the “I don’t want to renew” button, or by requesting termination of the DAZN service within the deadline indicated at the Online Customer Service which can be contacted by clicking here communicating the desire to withdraw, or by certified email to address [email protected].” writes DAZN, explaining that the matter expires in July 2024, therefore those signed last August.

At this point, if DAZN were to make promos at the start of the championship and they always have, it may be more convenient to cancel and redo a subscription in September.
