AgenPress – Video showing IDF observers abducted from the Nahal Oz IDF base in the Gaza Strip on October 7 was released on Wednesday evening, the Forum on Hostages and Missing Families announced.

The video, taken by the body cameras of Hamas terrorists, lasts just over three minutes and was censored.

The forum said the decision to release the video was made by the families of the five lookouts still held prisoners by Hamas, namely Liri Albag, Karina Ariev, Agam Berger, Daniel Gilboa and Naama Levy.

Seven lookouts were abducted alive from the base. Ori Megidish was rescued by the IDF in October and Noa Marciano she was killed while held captive by Hamas. Her body was recovered by the IDF in November and returned for burial in Israel.

“Look them in the eyes,” the forum asked. “The video is a stark indictment of national failure – the lawlessness in the hostage case over the past 229 days.” The video shows the violent and humiliating treatment the women suffered on the day of the abduction and describes the immense fear reflected through their eyes, the forum also reads.

“Every new testimony about what happened to the hostages echoes the same tragic truth: we must bring them all home, now.”

“The State of Israel cannot accept a reality in which its citizens constantly feel their lives threatened and suffer from unremitting fear and anxiety. With each passing day it becomes increasingly difficult to bring the hostages home: the living for rehabilitation and the murdered for a dignified burial. The Israeli government must not waste another moment; must return to the negotiating table today!” the punctuated statement.

Fifteen other female observers, serving at the base, were murdered by Hamas on 7 October.

“The world must look at this cruel atrocity. Those who care about women’s rights must speak out. All those who believe in freedom must speak out and do everything possible to bring all the hostages home,” President Isaac Herzog said in a statement, reacting to the release of footage showing the kidnapping of five female IDF soldiers from part of Hamas. terrorists on October 7.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he is “shocked” by the video.

“We will continue to do everything we can to bring them home. The brutality of the Hamas terrorists only strengthens my resolve to fight with all my might until Hamas is eliminated and to ensure that what we saw tonight never happens again.”
