Liguria. The Busking Project, Illustration Market 2024, Blue Seastem. These are the names of the three winning projects of the “Lab Liguria! Transforming Ideas into Projects”, awarded today in the Hall of Transparency of the Liguria Region with a total incentive of 15 thousand euros, 5 thousand euros each.

The contest was promoted by the regional department for Youth Policies in partnership with Aliseo as part of “PG23 – Youth Project 2023”, the tool with which the Liguria Region aims to implement projects and initiatives in the area aimed at supporting young people individually or associated, as a resource for the community in the realization of their ideas and initiatives.

“Through “Lab Liguria: transforming ideas into projects” we want to promote and support the entrepreneurial vocation of young adults and strengthen their planning skills – explains the councilor for Youth Policies of the Liguria Region. – The kids participated with great enthusiasm and many innovative ideas, demonstrating once again that they know how to be an extraordinary resource for the community. We will continue to promote projects that can encourage forms of aggregation, exchange and comparison not only between each other, but also with experts and even with the institutions”.

The competition offered young people between 20 and 35 years old residing in Liguria the opportunity to join a free and participatory process to present their ideas and be accompanied in their project development by qualified experts, professionals with adequate knowledge and tools. 67 young people joined the process and 30 of them, individually or in small groups, presented their project (workshops, speaking spaces, meetings, performances, small events, artistic, musical, cultural or creative activities, innovation, social narratives), developed in different areas: young people and civic participation, young people and music, culture, art, creativity, young people and education through social media, young people and communities.

Overall, 22 proposals were presented and stood out for the high quality of the interventions. Differentiated both in terms of the topics covered and the method of implementation, the proposals were presented in some cases still in the initial conception phase, in other cases in the process of being organized or with a first implementation or experimentation behind them. Today the young protagonists submitted their proposals to a commission which evaluated all the projects and drew up the final ranking.
