The speaking stones project, proposed by Michele Agostinelli And Concetta Antonelli, was born in the context of profound and authentic respect for the territory, with nature and characteristics that belong to it.

In the frame of nature, which is also essence, the project of the exhibition The stones that speak was born, in which the ancient farmhouse becomes a cenacle for the arts: music, painting, literary activity, natural expressions of the creativity of the human being, as well as the crops, the woods, the fauna express their biodiversity and the creativity of the territory, when it is cared for and protected.

In this context, on Saturday 25 May at 6.00 pm Concetta Antonelli will present the book Quale musica ti porta il vento (Florestan Edizioni) by Giusy Scattarelli.

Giulia, known as “Valvolina”, is the narrator in a vibrant story of music and passion. She is the young singer and bassist, the energetic frontwoman of the rock band, also made up of Gaetano, Sergio and Nicola. The four boys, together since adolescence, grow up shaped by their common musical inclination and a deep and generous friendship.

The entry of Rosanna, a beautiful and talented guitarist, will be enthralling for their existence and for the band, which also includes the mild and ironic Vittorio and the cyclone Manuela. Zephyr, the wind, impertinent and benign, incarnation of creative genius, is the component – made up of air – of the group, an assiduous presence that supports and comforts, galvanizes and calms. Don Tonino, young priest, brotherly friend, protector, is their “deus ex machina”: The solver.

Stories of tender and impetuous affections, of common and individual dreams are intertwined, even if the collision with reality is inevitable. Negative characters and irreparable misunderstandings, in fact, will deeply disturb the protagonists and many changes will separate them. Nothing inexorable, however, because everyone, “as the architect of their own destiny” can change it, finally flying free in the wind.

Giusy Scattarelli was born in Bari, attended the legendary Quinto Orazio Flacco Classical High School, and graduated in Law with top marks.

She is the author of Incipit for the Bimed Writing Relays.
