We played a good match. Coming here to play against Inter is never easy even if they have already won the Scudetto. For large stretches of the match we did what the coach asked of us, we had the chance to score the 2-0 and then we conceded a goal from a set piece where we worked so hard during the week and it’s a shame. Positive signs from the defense
I have always said that the work starts from the front. If there is great pressure for us it is easier to mark the attackers. Today we played a great game in this respect and now this week there will still be work to do
The difficulties of the season
I’m sorry that my season ends like this but as I’ve said before, it was the first year where I had some difficulties and I will need them to grow first as a man and then as a footballer. I honestly thought I would come out better but that’s how it went. I took all the beatings and I take them as advice for the future to get back on track
How difficult it was to match the new tactical dictates and the results
Since Mister Tudor arrived, I don’t think there are any matches where we could have deserved more. The draw in Monza is disappointing but we didn’t deserve the victory. Since Tudor arrived we have come a long way. The goal was to get to the Champions League and there is regret but let’s look at the positive side, in a short time we have totally changed the way we play. This wasn’t easy, there are many dynamics but I believe the path is positive. It’s part of a career and not everything always goes well, you have to take the negative things and get back up
