SAN CASCIANO – The photos sent to us by our reader, who returned home shortly after 7pm today, Thursday 16 May, to find this situation, speak for themselves.
We are in San Casciano, a very central area.
Viale San Francesco, near the church of the same name and the convent of the Poor Clares. To the gardens of Piazza della Repubblica, to the nursery school, to the Chisci car park.
“My mother was with my son at home – the owner tells us – and shortly after 5pm she went out to take him to practice his sporting activity”.
“I’m always at home at that time on Thursday – she continues – Today, however, I was busy at work, so I picked up my son and we returned home together, shortly after 7pm”.
Finding… this: the entire house thrown into the air, with the thieves having entered from the back, probably taking advantage of the cover provided by a hedge.
“They rummaged everywhere – the story continues – Even in the closets, even where the washing machine is. Who knows what they thought they would find, we have nothing of value in the house.”
“What if nothing is missing? From what I could see in the midst of all this confusion – she replies – it would seem that they didn’t take anything. There was something in silver, but I saw that they left it.”
The woman immediately contacted 112. Then we will have to fix what can be fixed.
With the bitterness that those who have experienced these situations know well: that of feeling that a personal, private, unique place has been violated.
