Death of Roberta Bertacchi in Casarano: arguments with her boyfriend and calls to 112

A climate of tension with her boyfriend, between constant arguments and violent arguments, and three calls to 112 two days before she was found hanging on the balcony of her home in Salento.

This is what emerges from a second report on the mobile phone of Roberta Bertacchi, the 26-year-old found hanged on the balcony of her home in Casarano with a scarf from the local football team that had been given to her by her boyfriend Davide Falcone, 36, under investigation for incitement to suicide and mistreatment in the family, and since last March 7 in prison as part of an anti-drug raid by the police.
The new elements included in the investigation file come from the analysis of the victim’s phone on which a second assessment ordered by the investigating magistrate is underway.

The second investigation was ordered after the lawyers of Roberta’s family filed the results of an initial analysis on the young woman’s cell phone which revealed some chats attributable to another number registered in Falcone’s name, registered by Roberta with the nickname ‘Pupetto’ , from the tenor of which one can deduce arguments and discussions between the two.
Roberta’s phone suddenly stopped working on January 4 and she was taken to a service center because it was damaged. According to the Carabinieri’s investigative hypothesis, she would have broken up during an argument with her boyfriend.
Roberta Bertacchi’s mother never believed in her daughter’s suicide, which was instead confirmed by the autopsy (ansa).
