After five years of waiting, the construction fair returns to Lariofiere
MECI will be held from 16 to 18 May: it will host 130 exhibitors
ERBA – It opened today 38th edition of MECIthe exhibition dedicated to civil and industrial construction. Lariofiere will host the fair from 16 to 18 May which had been missing in the city for five years where over 130 companies will be present. Furthermore, there will be 32 conferences scheduled and a rich exhibition area dedicated to real estate investments. While, in the external part there will be on display specific vehicles for construction and road uses.
The focus of this edition is Lake Como and the surrounding territories of Brianza. The intent of this new project is to create a matching platform at the service of the various interlocutors – financiers, investors, developers, builders, architects, designers, credit institutions, trade associations, etc. – offering them an analytical observation point and a space for dialogue and discussion.
At the inauguration which took place this morning, among others, the president of Lariofiere was present Fabio Dadatithe president of the Erba municipal council Claudio Ghislanzonithe presidents of Confartigianato Imprese Como-Lecco, Alessandro Valsecchinational vice-president of the Young Entrepreneurs of Ance, the regional Undersecretary Mauro Piazza and the councilor for University and Research of the Lombardy Region, Alessandro Fermiwho thanked all the organizers and exhibitors present for the 2024 construction exhibition.
“The fair has been missing for some time and is important for the sector that is the driving force in Lombardy. Furthermore, I take this opportunity to promote here the two master’s degrees that the Polytechnic will hold to train experts in the construction sector and hoping that this type of training will become continuous and constant – said Fermi – I hope that the fair has an excellent success and that this is an opportunity to make yourself known, develop new practices for safety at work and to give a greater boost to a sector that will have to be increasingly sustainable in the future”.
