Seriously injured after an accident, he leaves Cannizzaro: tracked down by the police
The agents of the “Borgo- Ognina” Public Security Commissariat, on duty at the fixed post of the Cannizzaro Hospital, reported to the Operations Room the removal from the health facility of a citizen of Brazilian nationality, hospitalized together with his wife, in serious conditions , following a serious road accident that occurred on the Catania – Messina motorway.
The clinical tests to which the man was subjected after hospitalization allowed the diagnosis to be made serious internal injuries which could have been lethal.
Using the telephone numbers found by the police operator of the Cannizzaro fixed post, it was possible to trace the man’s brother-in-law. He reported that both were near Piazza Michelangelo, where they were then reached by a police car awaiting the arrival of 118 health personnel.
Thanks also to the police relay team, the man was quickly transported to the emergency room to be hospitalized again and subjected to the necessary treatment.
