GPS 2024/2026, towards the ministerial ordinance: everything is ready to start with the procedure for submitting applications for updating, transfer and new inclusion in GPS for the two-year period 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 for aspiring teachers. These are provincial and Institute rankings for annual substitutes, up to the end of the teaching activities and for short substitutes from the Institute ranking.
GPS 2024/2025, probable opening date May 20th
Today, May 15th, as we know, a meeting took place political meeting at the Ministry on GPS. According to ministerial sources, the probable date for the opening of applications for GPS updating is May, 20th. This is, however, a hypothesis: the publication of theministerial order.
As we had written, the unions Flc Cgil, Cisl Scuola, Snals and the Teachers’ Guild had asked the Ministry of Education and Merit for a political discussion on the following points:
– provisions relating to the inclusion of GPS with reservations in band 1;
– provisions relating to the attribution of substitute contracts to aspirants included in the 1st band of the GPS with reservations.
The meeting on May 7th
Tuesday 7 May, as we know, it is an information meeting was held at the ministry in which a further draft ordinance (the third) on theGPS update for the two-year period 2024/2026. In the new draft, in addition to dissolving the as announced node of securities abroad still awaiting recognition, which will allow inclusion with reservation but with the right to appointment based on the position occupied (albeit with reservation), a further provision would be inserted which constitutes an unprecedented innovation.
As reported by Cisl Scuola, it is in fact envisaged that, for the year 2024/2025 only, those who “intend to register” to the qualifying courses of 60 or 30 CFU. The insertion would take place with reserveto be dissolved by June 30, 2024 with the declaration of effective admission to the courses.
The substitute appointment, awarded on the basis of the position in GPS with reservation, would contain a clause which provides for the termination of the contract in the event of failure to obtain the qualification by the end of the 2023/2024 academic year, with reference to the corresponding exam sessions.
The proposed innovation is justified with reference to the delay with which the new paths envisaged by the initial training reform are being launched.
