it will cost less than the Sandero, but what quality

The new model from South Korea is ready to take away Dacia’s throne as the cheapest brand, you will pay very little for it.

In recent years, Dacia has established itself as the economic brand par excellence thanks to his models. The excellent quality-price ratio has allowed the Romanian company to become one of the few brands on the continent to be able to compete with the ultra-competitive prices that come especially from Asia (China in the lead). This time, however, the number one rival is not the country of the Dragon, nor even the giant Japan.

South Korea has been a very important reality for the world of motors for years, which over time has managed to propose innovative and ultra-modern models capable of making inroads on the international market too.

A lot of it is certainly thanks to Hyundaiwhich more than any other has managed to raise Seoul’s sales numbers, so much so that it has also become a giant in our latitudes and is systematically among the best-selling brands in Europe too.

Now the company is ready to challenge the European brands with a model that aims to revolutionize the market and confirm the excellent goals achieved by the brand: Dacia has been warned.

Hyundai challenges Dacia with the new low-cost model

Hyundai has the production of a new low-cost electric SUV in the pipeline, the first from the company which for the first time decided to challenge the ever-increasing presence of low-cost cars on the market. The company is expected to launch the model by the end of 2024 and more details on the project are expected in the coming days. The “AX EV” model (this is the name used internally by the car manufacturer) should be marketed on the market under the name Hyundai Inster, although official news in this regard is awaited.

As far as features go, the new Inster is expected to be powered by two front-wheel drive engines. The South Korean giant then focused heavily on battery autonomy, one of the biggest obstacles so far for electric vehicles. According to the first rumours, the SUV (which will be based on the Hyundai Casper platform) should exceed 300 kilometers of autonomy, and therefore presumably be an SUV more suitable for use in the city.

Also because the model should not be particularly large (the length should in fact be less than four metres), making it particularly easy to handle. The price should settle down on a figure just over 20 thousand eurosgoing to establish the cheapest brands on the market.
