The official trailer for ‘Rite Here Rite Now’ has been released. The one-of-a-kind feature film combines never-before-seen footage from the rock band’s 2023 concerts Ghost, winner of a Grammy Award, with a narrative story that picks up plot threads from the band’s long-running “Chapters” series. Directed by Tobias Forge And Alex Ross Perry (“Her Smell”), ‘Rite Here Rite Now’ will be shown in cinemas worldwide on June 20 and 22 only. Tickets go on sale today and are available here. Additional screenings may vary by territory.

Filmed during the two sold-out shows of the Ghost at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, ‘Rite Here Rite Now’ completely immerses viewers in the technicolor melodrama of the famous live ritual that helped push Sweden’s most important theatrical rock act to win a Grammy, top the charts and perform in the arenas around the world.

‘Rite Here Rite Now’ is much more than a concert film. The result is an absolutely unique phantasmagorical blend: flesh-and-blood interpretations of favorite songs from all five albums Ghostas well as Mary On A Cross’, are intertwined with the big screen debuts of some familiar faces to the band’s legions of fans – all interacting behind the scenes with the Pope Emeritus IV of the Ghostwhile its future and destiny are in the hands of the Ministry.

Forge has explained: “More than ten years ago, when i Ghost they signed up for Loma Vista, Tom Whalley (owner and CEO) asked what the history of the band was. He believed that telling a story was key to engaging new fans. I replied that since we were a new “baby” band and, above all, we were an anonymous baby band, there was no compelling story to tell. Not yet, anyway. But I told him if he wanted a story, I could make one up. This film is the fruit of that conversation.”
