Is there a right way to talk to children about death? According to Chiara Scardicchio, professor of general and social pedagogy at the University of Bari, there is no right way, because every child has his own internal universe. So, one day, she too finds herself having to answer an uncomfortable question posed by her 4-year-old son Gabriele, who asks her if they too would die.

From this question, so big and painful, begins the journey in which Gabriele leads his mother Chiara into the woods, a journey from which a comic book was born, “What if death were a forest?” illustrated by Hanieh Ghashghaei, which the author will present today 9 May, starting at 6.30 pm, in the council room of the Municipality of Corato.

During the presentation, organized as part of the Maggio dei Libri by the Adisco association – Territorial section of Corato ODV in collaboration with the local sections of Admo, Aido, Avis and Rotary, sponsored by the Municipality of Corato, introduced and strongly supported by the president Adisco, Luisa Belsito, there will also be a musical interlude by maestro Pietro Catucci.
