Oleificio Zucchi, guardian of an olive oil tradition handed down for six generations, brings its commitment to excellence to the 72nd Camogli Fish Festival with the launch of the innovative Fritto Libero! frying oil. As a partner of the event, Zucchi has decided to celebrate the culture of frying as a moment of conviviality, offering a high-performance oil in a place that has made fried fish a 72-year tradition.

The Camogli Fish Festival, known for its long history of distributing high quality fried fish for free, represents one of the most anticipated gastronomic events of the year. Organized every second Sunday of May jointly by the Municipality, the Pro Loco Camogli and for the 2024 edition by Oleificio Zucchi, this event promises fun, entertainment and, above all, a generous portion of tasty and crunchy fried fish for all participants who will have the opportunity to dedicate yourself to a moment of conviviality and joy.

The frying, one of the characteristic dishes of the Fish Festival, will be prepared exclusively using the innovative Zucchi Fritto Libero! frying oil. This cutting-edge product, the result of in-depth research conducted in collaboration with the Department of Soil, Plant and Food Sciences of the Aldo Moro University of Bari, offers a revolutionary solution for cooking lovers and beyond. With a formulation based on high oleic sunflower seed oil with antioxidants, Zucchi Fritto Libero! reduces frying odor by 50% compared to standard sunflower oils, ensuring a more pleasant and lighter cooking experience. Furthermore, its high resistance to high temperatures (230°C) ensures crispy and dry fried food, enhancing the flavors without altering them.

Furthermore, Oleificio Zucchi brings its constant commitment to sustainability to the Fish Festival, through the disposable trays with which the fried food will be distributed: made of paper, biodegradable in wet products and recyclable in paper.
