L’Union of Castellane Fractions, based in Lagopesole, has renewed its board of directors.
As per the statute, the members who will guide the political and social actions for the next five years have been appointed.
During the course of the works, chaired by president pro-tempore, Donato Lucia, have been addressed many topics on the agenda, including the direct participation in the next elections which will also be held in the municipality of Avigliano, at the same time as the European ones.
Explains the Union of Castellane Fractions in a statement:
“The problems discussed during the course of the work and the consequent actions to be taken to resolve the problems that emerged will be debated during the general assembly which will be held in the next, imminent, days.
It has also been examined as well the possibility of being present with your own list at the next municipal consultations which will be held next June.
The annexation of the hamlets included in the Lagopesole constituency to the municipality of Filiano appears to have been communicated as a possibility by President Bardi in an assembly held in Lagopesole during the last regional electoral campaign.
The Committee immediately took action in recent days search for candidates to include in your list which was completed with the inclusion of the sixth female candidate, as required by the current electoral law.
We read from many places that some political groups in the center of Avigliano are organizing themselves for the presentation of some lists resulting from political “mix-ups” where, as usual, real mixtures have been created where it is not possible to indicate the precise political position of their candidates.
In short, in order to maintain their seat, some “old and now outdated characters” have joined such a mix that it is not easy to label them as belonging to the right or the left.
In short, chaos is at home in the next municipal elections in Avigliano.
But that’s it. The union of the hamlets of Lagopesole has only one objective: to be administered by the nearby municipality of Filiano”.
