This is the toll of the fire that broke out this morning in Rivoliin the premises of the Equilibri bookshop, at the crossroads between via Cavour and via Gatti. The firefighters of Grugliasco and Rivalta intervened to fight the flames in the underground rooms of the shop but despite their efforts there was considerable damage to the business. The store was supposed to reopen its doors tomorrow, Monday 6 May, after a break period that began on 22 April.

According to the first investigations by the firefighters, the cause of the fire was to be found in a short circuit.

To allow the extinguishing operations, via Cavour was opened temporarily closed to traffic resulting in slight inconveniences to traffic in the heart of the city. The building affected by the fire has been evacuated for the time necessary for the firefighters to carry out the interventions, then the residents were able to return to their homes.
