Between May and September of 1976the tremors of earthquake there were hundreds of them Friuli. In the end, there were almost a thousand victims, one hundred thousand homeless, thousands of homes, churches and businesses destroyed in an instant. To remember the tragedy of the earthquake in Friuli, Rai Cultura presents again on Monday 6 May at 7.30 pm on Rai History6 May 1976. Earthquake in Friuli by Antonia Pillosio. The special is built on the basis of ideas suggested at different times by the Extraordinary Commissioner Giuseppe Zamberletti, who passed away five years ago, who shared those tragic moments with the Friulian community and who helps to better understand the earthquake that marked the modern history of Friuli.

To enrich the episode, the images from the Rai Teche and others, which were offered by the Tiere Motus Museum of the Association of Earthquake Municipalities and Reconstruction Mayors, in the medieval village of Venzone. Particular among these are the 3D audio and video simulations of the fall of the Cathedral of Venzone, present in the museum, in the simulator room, created by the Human-Machine Interaction Laboratory (Hci Lab) of the University of Udine.
