Second day of Aromatica in Diano Marina: the program

Second day today in Diano Marina of the 11th edition of “Aromatics, aromas and flavors of the Ligurian Riviera”, the great exhibition, dedicated to basil, aromatic herbs, typical products and excellences of the agri-food and food and wine sectors, which transforms the elegant pedestrian center of the City of Oranges into a real open-air theater for three days. The program includes producers’ expo, cooking shows, four-handed dinners, special proposals in restaurants, workshops, presentations, street food, conferences, competitions and much more.

9.30 am “Aromatica scuola” – award ceremony for the competition among the students of the Diano Marina State Comprehensive Institute and presentation of the winning recipes, with the collaboration of the Ruffini-Aicardi Institute
11.00 am “Anchovy on canvas” – cooking show, curated by chef Ivano Ricchebono (The Cook, Genoa, 1 Michelin Star)
12.00 “Un mare nel Roero” (Thirty Ed.) – presentation of the book and cooking show “Cuttlefish, artichokes and basil”, curated by chef Flavio Costa (21.9, Piobesi d’Alba, 1 Michelin Star)

3.00 pm awards ceremony for Confcommercio Golfo Dianese competitions
3.30pm “Pesto?” – cooking show, curated by chef Jacopo Chieppa (Equilibrio, Dolcedo)
4.15 pm “Apple shortcrust pastry with rosemary frangipane” – cooking show, curated by chef Orietta Zaccaro (La Cucina delle Erbe, Ceva)
5.00 pm Aromatica 2024 Award – presentation of the award to Paolo Pellegrino, general manager of the Twist Connubio Restaurant in London
5.15 pm “Arotiche per Aromatica, papaya sauce, toasted and salted papaya seeds, cheese and ova balls, almond milk ice cream with long pepper” – cooking show, organized by chef Gianfranco Vissani (Casa Vissani, Todi, 1 Star Michelin), super guest of Aromatica 2024
6.30 pm “Rack of lamb crusted with almonds and limoncino thyme, small garden of asparagus and yellow pumpkin ketchup” – cooking show, organized by the Ruffini-Aicardi Institute

9pm “The great Italian music” – tribute to famous artists and immortal songs, with some “homages” to Liguria, by the Music Time Trio (Angela Vicidomini, vocals; Alessio Briano, keyboards; Artan Selishta, electric and acoustic guitars) .
