The accident which occurred on the A1, in the stretch between the junction with the A11 and Firenze Impruneta, towards Rome, which involved three cars, was resolved shortly before 5.30pm. At the site of the event there is currently traffic on three lanes and there is a 7km queue, decreasing, towards Rome.

Queues in the afternoon on the A1 motorway, towards Naples, in the stretch between the A1A11 junction and Firenze Impruneta. Three cars were involved. Three ambulances were on site. There is a nine kilometer queue heading south.

At the site of the event, where the medical and mechanical emergency services, the traffic police patrols and the staff of the Florence 4th Section Directorate of Autostrade per l’Italia intervened, there is currently only one lane of traffic.

Users traveling to Rome are advised to take the A11 to exit at Firenze Ovest and return to Firenze Sud after traveling along the external roads.
