Three years later Carpi resumed the Lega Pro, crowning a fairytale season with a 5-1 win at Certaldo on the last day. The red and whites defended the +2 on Ravenna, who defeated Imolese 2-0, celebrating in front of over 3500 fans who filled the “Cabassi” and then at the end of the match accompanied the team in the celebration until late at night Martyrs Square.
