Inter want to evaluate Valentin Carboni in retirement before possibly choosing between the loan offers that will inevitably arrive. Lautaro Martinez and Thuram are sure of a place in the Nerazzurri’s attack next season, Taremi has already been purchased, so one (or two) other attackers are needed to complete the squad. Marko Arnautovic has a contract until 2025, while Alexis Sanchez is expiring: almost certainly one of the two is too many, to be understood if both are not sacrificed. It must be said that the Chilean has particularly shone in the last two months, so much so that there was talk – at a certain point – of a renewal, but a new extension seems complicated, if not in a capacity that is truly too marginal to be true.
So Valentin Carboni could also stay. Different scenario if a very high level proposal arrived around 35 million. Also because the Argentine would give a full capital gain to Inter, thus avoiding having to think of new solutions to try to improve the balance sheet. While waiting there is a red more or less similar to that of last year in structural revenues, even if Onana will provide a significant economic improvement.
Some clubs have shown interest, while Inter would perhaps like to include him as a trade subject, perhaps for Gudmundsson, maintaining the recompra as seen for Fabbian. Meanwhile, Carboni has changed agent, leaving GR Sports for an Argentine compatriot (like his brother Franco).
