Fraternity meeting with the theme ‘Love each other to love’ in the parish of San Giovanni Battista in Sant’Eufemia

Lamezia Terme – The fraternity meeting with the theme “Love each other to love” concluded in the Parish of San Giovanni Battista in Sant’Eufemia. The meeting was organized by the Vincentian Volunteering, Miraculous Medal and Mariana Youth groups, led by Father Giuseppe Martinelli. Thanks to the collaboration of Dr. Antonella Rotella, psychologist and psychotherapist, the importance of taking care of oneself in order to be able to give to others was addressed. In an atmosphere of sharing and reflection, it was underlined “how the gift of self is the heart of an authentic life, according to the Lord’s call to live in the logic of gift and love”.

“Loving to take care of others is the very heart of our faith and our existence. We must always be ready to reach out and love others, because only in this way can we truly take care of them and through them also of ourselves. May love for others be the guide of our lives, because only through this love can we truly make a difference in the world. We must never forget that only those who are full of love can give it to others, and that loving oneself is the first step in being able to love our neighbor. May the Lord help us to live this love every day and to give it to others with generosity and without reservations” added the Vincentian Family groups in a note.
