Carbonia. Chilling hypotheses would have emerged behind the road accident that occurred yesterday afternoon along state road 126, involving a woman in her early fifties and her ex-partner, the same age.
The woman is currently hospitalized in serious conditions at the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari, but her life is not in danger. According to the first reconstructions by the police, the man would have voluntarily caused the head-on collision between his Alfa 147 and his ex-partner’s Ford Fiesta along state road 126, at kilometer 16.
This gesture would have had the intent to make an attempt on the life of the woman, who would have previously reported him for stalking, and would have obtained a judicial order with a ban on approaching him. The arrest of the man, currently hospitalized with minor injuries at the Sirai hospital in Carbonia, would have been carried out on charges of attempted murder. The investigators of the Cagliari flying squad have recovered several videos which confirm the man’s premeditated behavior and his intention to kill his ex-partner.
The situation required careful coordination by the Cagliari Prosecutor’s Office, with Mobile investigators conducting investigations until the early hours of this morning. L’Ansa reports it.
