Today, at the “Ivo Oliveti” high school in Locri, an accident occurred which alarmed the school community. Presumably due to the strong wind, a large window on the upper floor of the historic building collapsed on the stairs, causing the glass on the railing below to shatter. Fortunately, at the time of the collapse, no one was in the affected area, thus avoiding any injury. However, the event caused great fear among the students and staff of the school, who witnessed what could have happened.

The mayor of Locri, Giuseppe Fontana, intervened promptly by going to the high school to assess the situation and report the incident to the offices of the Metropolitan City. Despite the accident, the premises were not evacuated and the school continued its normal activities after the necessary safety checks.
