First Rally of the Arroscia Valley, still which day to register – Lavocediimperia.it

A few more days to join the 1st “Valle Arroscia Rally – on the roads of Ormeasco and Taggiasca”, scheduled for 27 and 28 April Pieve di Teco. The Federation has, in fact, accepted the request of the organizers of Scuderia Imperia Corse by extending the period for sending the registration to all next Monday, 22 April. The competition takes advantage of the patronage of the Liguria Region and the support of the Union of Municipalities of the Alta Valle Arroscia (Armo, Aquila d’Arroscia, Borghetto d’Arroscia, Cosio d’Arroscia, Mendatica, Montegrosso Pian Latte, Pieve di Teco, Pornassio, Ranzo, Rezzo and Vessalico), the organization that focuses on the rally as a vehicle for promoting the territory and the typical products of this area, such as Ormeasco red wine, EVO oil derived from Taggiasca olives and the famous Vessalico garlic .

The staff of Scuderia Imperia Corse, in addition to the practice of extending registrations, focused its attention on the race route, resolving in record time an anomaly that had occurred on the Mendatica stage, the longest of the rally. Furthermore, the asphalting work of the Rezzo special stage has been completed, at the beginning of which spectators will be able to find a tasty refreshment point managed by the Pro Loco.

As for the Ronde Valli Imperiesi, the organizers received the offer from the 3F Competition from Luca Fidale, driver and president of the Scuderia dei Fiori, for a new trophy which will concern the Rally5 Class, the winner of which will have the prize of registration in the 2024 edition of the next Ronde Valli Imperiesi. Furthermore, the initiative called “IM” 500 has been confirmed on the circuit of the 1st Valle Arroscia Rally, organized by the Riviera dei Fiori Coordination of the Fiat 500 Club Italia and reserved for the historic twin-cylinder cars and their derivatives, which will see, on Sunday 21 April, the sedans whiz along the entire rally route.

Pieve di Teco is therefore ready for the “1st Arroscia Valley Rally – on the Ormeasco and Taggiasca roads“, which will be divided into 2 stages and 247.50 km of route, 59.42 of which relating to the 6 special stages, 3 sections – “Aquila d’Arroscia” (km. 6.11), “Mendatica” (km. 14.60) and “Rezzo” (km. 9.00) – to be covered twice. Departure at 5.20pm on Saturday 27 April, from Corso Mario Ponzoni, and arrival the following day, at 3.20pm.
