Accident on the A1. The stretch of Autostrada del Sole between the Ferentino and Anagni toll booths was closed shortly before 5pm due to a road accident that occurred close to the Ferentino toll booth. A 21-year-old girl from Rome who was in the vehicle driven by her mother died in a collision between a car and a heavy vehicle.

Traffic was diverted onto Casilina and Morolense up to Anagni; for those coming from the South, the Frosinone exit is recommended as, at the moment, there is a queue of around 5 kilometres. A 118 helicopter landed on the scene and Frosinone traffic police officers are operating together with the fire brigade and Autostrade company staff. The road report provides no information and simply defines the situation as “very serious”.
The reconstruction
According to an initial reconstruction, the young victim was traveling in a Peugeot 107 driven by her mother who hit a heavy vehicle in front of her. Any help is useless. The Traffic Police, the Fire Brigade, the Frosinone 118 health personnel and the Società Autostrade personnel are operating on site.
