Pain for the death of Rosalinda Candeliere: “Extraordinary person”

He faced the disease with strength, choosing to fight this battle alone, perhaps so as not to “disturb” others. In recent times, when the situation has become clear, even her relatives have understood the reality. And they didn’t let her miss their presence. Rosalinda Candeliere died yesterday at the Madonna dell’Uliveto Hospice in Albinea, where she had been cared for in recent weeks. She was 49 years old and lived in Correggio. She had worked as an employee in a company in the biomedical sector in Carpi. Rosalinda was passionate about music, dabbling as a piano bar singer and also taking part in competitions, often successfully. She loved “great female voices” like Whitney Houston or Gloria Gaynor. Her husband, Pasquale “Pax” Serra, is known in Correggio as a cartoonist and illustrator. He dedicated a memory to his wife: “Behind my art there has always been a woman, who encouraged me right from the start and made this dream of mine come true. Her name is Rosalinda. For about three years she brought himself a huge boulder, an illness that he didn’t want to share with anyone. We spent the last few days looking at each other, listening to music and shaking hands. Now I would like to express my thanks: to all the people who were close to us, the sisters Elisabetta and Antonella , our families. But in particular Dr. Betty Balli, who made this journey less painful. And then the Casa Madonna dell’Uliveto Hospice”. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2.30pm from the Correggio hospital morgue to the Basilica of San Quirino.
